“the + 比较级……，the + 比较级”……”是一个常用句型。
例如：
The more you practise, the better you will speak english.
你练得越多，你英语就会讲得越好。
The more I read the book，the more I liked it．
这本书我越看越喜欢。

在通常情况下，前一个“the + 比较级……”是状语从句，后一个“the + 比较级………”是主句。即

The more you practise, the better you will speak English.

但这一句型有时会有变异，可将作状语的“the + 比较级……”放到主句之
末。此时要注意结构变化，①主句不再将“the + 比较级”置于主语之前，而是
按正常的语序，如You will speak Englsh the better；②形容词或副词前常
省略不the，如 You will speak Englsh （the）better 。③ 移后的从句如
较短可不用短号与主句点开。

例如：

The more you practise, the better you will speak English.
You will speak English better the more you practise.
你练得越多，你英语就会讲得越好。

The higher you climb, the farther you will see.
You will see farther the higher you climb.
你爬得越高，看得越远。
